Misc Vintage Racing Clips

Not vintage but, I had no idea this existed:

While all the car manufacturers are trying to out-Tesla, Tesla, Ford did this. A supercharged, 815 HP, Mustang ….

Yeah, I had seen threads on other sites, but hadn’t paid much attention. 815 HP, that will sell some cars.

Not for me, but good to see manufacturers keeping the hobby alive.

I have seen some resto-mod, 2nd gen Corvair's that are pretty impressive. It's a shame that platform was killed off.

Nice video. I remember that history even though I was a child. Mostly because my dad was despondent when the roadsters disappeared.

I always thought that engine was called the 4 Cam Ford but I do remember the DOHC designation.

Rather than start a new thread, thought I’d add this here.

If you are moving a frame around on your own, here’s what I arrived at for a solution.

If you need sand blasting, paint, weld, or just relocation, moving a frame can be a pain in the back side. This turns it into a wheel barrow. IMG_4615.jpeg

Just grab the front frame horns and go. Loaded and unloaded this on my own.
