Nice video. My dad was one of those people that thought the invasion of rear engine cars in Indy was going to ruin racing forever. He took me to a race when I was a kid in ~1965. His favorite driver was Jim Hurtibise who spent years racing an old front engined Offy, until he couldn't qualify (to slow). Hurtibise sprint car driver that was a local fan favorite.
I think he kept trying until the early 70's. My dad told me that Hurtibise said "I'm going to win Indy or die trying".

Hey, does anyone have good photos of a c2 or c3 race car showing how the dzus fasteners are done for the front and rear clip? With the body mounted and removed would be good. If I find any in the coming months, will post here.
Started moving my frame around in order to clean and re-paint the house garage. Yeah, I know it’s purple , but the whole car was 1500$ and sold $3000 worth of parts from it. So this was free ( plus a bunch of other stuff I kept).
That is the first post on CF and a few more after - might be useful.
"how did they dzus this..."
But hey - whoever thinks CF has any good... never mind. I'll be looking there too for ideas for body mounts like that.
5 hours. I didn’t watch it all, but the traditional foot race start is shown around 70 min. They do a drone overhead view and they leave pretty cautiously (understandably).
While all the car manufacturers are trying to out-Tesla, Tesla, Ford did this. A supercharged, 815 HP, Mustang that did a sub 7-minute lap at the Nürburgring. And you (not me), can buy one!
Ford Mustang® GTD: Full Sub-7-Minute Nürburgring Lap
Maybe a set of dual shifters on the center console?
Place one aft to "tweak" a bit of pressure in just one side or the other? Joy-stick style?
Plumbing couldn't be terribly difficult.
Or, take the easier route. There is a video of installing a hydraulic handbrake in a Corvette:
Does this qualify as vinage? 1997 McLaren F-1, suppose so...
Full drifting would not lead to better lap-times, but "just a touch" to set up entry; I'm thinkin' it worked pretty good until they were busted.
Cheers - Jim
