Yes, I’ve decided getting a car from someone retiring is probably the way to go.

My quick observation.
Yes. Exactly.
The previous owner will have done some sorting out, frequently reflected in the price.
What is not done will give you plenty of opportunity to be in in the garage.
I guarantee you'd have plenty of opportunity to upgrade/personalize.
Just my experience.

Best of luck.
Cheers - Jim

“Here is a historic race car built by builder/driver/Team Owner Dan Gurney. How much will it go for?”

Out of my league.

Millions maybe?

This is actually a bargain, considering those 6 pack set ups with carbs are $$$$$ now.

Seller's description

I'm offering my 400 hp tri-power 427 69 corvette coupe for sale for 14,000 or best offer. It is one of only about 2000 Vettes produced in 69. There were actually more 435 hp cars produced in 69 making these one of the more rare cars out there. As seen in the pics it has been diss-assembled and stored for 35 years. It has the numbers matching engine also. The car was driven into the previous owners garage running, and then disassembled so all the parts are there. The original nice frame has been blasted and painted and ready for re-assembly. tThe original color is fathom green
