Its in my neck of the woods -

Asking $10K - Classed a SPO - so a regional only/Track Day Car. Looks good fun - some work required. But I already have "some work to do!"
I can DM the FB link if you're interested.

Cheers - Jim

“PRICE DROP! 2002 Chevrolet Corvette · Coupe · Driven 20,485 miles2002 Corvette Z06 race car. Was raced in SCCA T1/T2 from 2005 through 2013 and just recently one race in Spec Corvette. Was mainly used for HPDE during my ownership and the one race earlier this year. Unfortunately family and work prevents me from racing as much as I had intended. Full cage, stock LS6 motor, adjustable moton shocks, accu-sump, catch can, diff/trans cooler, MGW short shifter. New clutch/flywheel (installed by previous owner) front and rear poly bushings and battery. Comes with one set 18x11 Apex wheels with Nankang 315/30/18 Spec Corvette tires and currently has AP Radikal front brakes (372mm) and spare stock front brakes. Car runs great and I placed 4th in Spec in my first and only race and 7th overall in big bore. The car handles great and drives beautifully. I have documentation and receipts from the original build through the 4th owner (me). Clean clear title in my name. I would like to get what I have in the car or close to it, if I don’t I’ll just keep it for DE’s and hopefully a race when time allows. Please message me with any questions. New steering rack and other misc parts. Car is ready to go and is currently SCCA inspected. Forgot to add that the LS6 crate motor does not have many hrs on it.”

Yeah, when I see something I don’t want ( or can’t afford), but looks interesting, I post it here in case someone is in the market.

Were there any photos? More info on how to find/review the ad? Thanks
I try to list it as FB MK (facebook marketplace) and the location. Mostly because FB links are weird, they ask for cookie permission, etc.

Next step is to go on FB MP set your search location and radius to encircle the location. Then start adding keywords and searching. Use 500 miles, to cast a wide net. Might find something better. :)

This way when the ad is removed, there are no goofy links.

The Vette cart and the L88 clone tribute car were still available the other day. The Vette cart has been for sale for years. That one custom was up too a week or so ago. Also, people remove ads when traveling, etc, so check back.

I think that should work if they are still listed.

I’m pretty sure FB MP does not require a login. But, making a “burner” account isn’t too hard .

Usually, I won’t post a photo. But, pretty much every ad has them.

Similar for CL ads.

The way back machine might get old deleted ads if someone was really needing that particular item.

You could do a copy/paste (win+shift+paste). Then you could see the title and location? Example:

Wow. Are you familiar with the car?
A little. it was pretty famous for a number of years at Elkhart Lake/Road America. There were three built almost alike - numbers 23. 24, and 25. I have talked to the owner of number 24 several times. The owner of this car passed away a couple of years ago. The car is pretty cool. I am waiting for Reliable Transport to deliver it from Wisconsin to Phoenix1960 Corvette 20.jpg1960 Corvette 23.jpg1960 Corvette 6.jpg1960 Corvette 21.jpg

That is a sweet looking replica, isn’t it? A guy could buy it and drive the wheels off of it. And, still be able to sell it for a reasonable price.

That snap on tool box was up for 2 months, then sold right after posting here. I was almost ready to make the drive, but it was just too far away to justify. :)

Actually the panel fit looks better than a real 53. I think the price is low because it's an automatic. Do you know what chassis that is built on?
