A guy is coming tomorrow to pick up the hot rod irs. When I disassembled it, I messed up a spacer for the coil overs.
Went out looking for scrap to make a new one. Somehow stumbled on this lug nut.
Left is original, a lug nut, and on the right is the copy. Lug nut worked perfectly. Yeah, my tolerances are pretty loose, but it will work fine and the steel quality should be great.

Okay this one is off topic. That said, when all the tariff on aluminum talk was ramping up, I found a car trailer on sale in MI. I was actually cheaper than what guys were asking for the same model in used condition.
I ran across this “camper” today that you put on your own trailer or in a pickup bed. Neat idea, but since it is glued and screwed foam board covered in bed liner, 2500$ seems high for a DIY’er.
I really don’t crave camping, but for the occasional trip, this might be ideal. Plus, only one trailer to plate and insure.

I've been researching various methods to make an enclosure for my car-hauler.
Been looking (seriously) at SnoCaps, for a "Serpent Express-Style" build.
And, also been considering a DIY effort using Maker-Pipe and EMT Conduit. Cover with Aluminum Composite panels or canvas. (Best is Shelter Rite skin)
Now Foam enters the mix! Might get a sheet of 2 inch 4x8 and see how it "works." A number of YT videos using their product.
Just what I don't need -- a side step... Thanks Anyway!

“Get the best of both worlds with this 17 foot Featherlite trailer with a custom built removable heavy vinyl enclosure. This aluminum trailer is light and easy to pull with a 7 foot interior height for tall vehicles. Six bolts and 2 people can remove the enclosure to use it as an open flatbed. In overall great condition. Just came back from Chicago with it. Selling because I need a larger trailer.”

Just the Featherlite ought to be worth most of the asking price-
But of course Buyer - Beware... Wide enough?
