Nice I like the bare bones look.

A long time ago, I wrecked my Triumph TR6. I removed the front end including the fender wells to go to a frame shop. When it was done, I asked them if i could drive it, they said it was "drivable". Went and picked it up and drove home in the rain. At speed I had a 20 foot rooster tail coming off the front tires. I got a lot of looks. I passed a cop going the other way in downtown Cincinnati. It must have been the end of his shift or he didn't want to figure out how many laws I broke, but he let me go!

INSPIRATIONAL!

I too am going "Hammers and Tongs" on Elvira. Will start a post on my "restart".
Pics won't be as nice as yours - my Garage is a Disaster area!

Cheers- Jim

Really happy to finally be able to share this with you guys who have been along for all of this journey.
The official gas station picture!
What a great feeling. Suspension feels great, the chassis is stiff and solid feeling. Brakes feel amazing, and the electric power steering pump is perfect for this setup. I’m yet to beat on it to really see what it can do, but the daily driver aspect of it is exactly what I hoped for.
Now to get driving… I’ve got 10 years of missed miles to catch up on!

Nice job Chris. I haven't logged in for a long while but wanted to see how your build was coming. After a year I finally uncovered mine and got it back into the garage. Gotta figure out where I left off with rewiring the car for the 2nd time.
