This is my 72 Vette Convertible.
It is now partly undergoing an upgrade/restoration.
The plan is to make it a fun road and trackdays car.
New engine built this winter is a "LS6 replica" 454 GenV engine.

Bought the 72 in 1977 as a daily driver. Big block needed a rebuild so engine and trans were rebuilt in 1981. Decided to repaint (black) and replace interior (change from medium to light saddle) in 1982. Job took over my life for the next 9 years
I just added disc brakes on the front and I am trying to decide on a crate engine either 350 or 383 or maybe just rebuild my current 350.

Now I'm broke, but having fun.
This is my little work in progress. I brought it home in July of 2007. It hadn't been on the road in 5 years. It has taken most of my time and money so far to get it on the road and keep it there. Hopefully next year I can work more on modifications.

It started as fun little project car with a 1976 corvette and has turned into a 1974 full frame off restoration into a pro touring car. 1976 you have to deal with smog in California and that's just no fun.
