I should take a picture of the rocket science that GM came up with for where the egr gasses entered the intake. - the egr gasses come in under the intake manifold and point up at the carb base. Last time I checked, we wanted stuff to flow towards the pistons.... not get hung up with exhaust gasses blowing up at the carb.... what makes me the most irritated is I didn't notice that until after I pulled the intake - had I seen it before, I'd have plugged those holes.... but no matter, it was filled with oil, fuel and what appeared to be water...

I"m famous for blocking the heat riser crossover with plaster of Paris, to block carb overheating, well needed even in Maryland, and certainly needed here in FLORIDA....even the highly modified LT1 induction on my vette, has the EGR stuff filled with Plaster....course it's all cut off to fit the HEI ignition in stock location....thanks to a TIG welding buddy....:bump::bounce: one of the first things I do is disable EGR, if possible....

did your new remote reservoir stop the leaking problem? if not maybe one of those multiple barbed nipples may help.

yep, it fixed that leak.... I've decided to install a slave cylinder on the bellhousing - get the fluid out of the clutch/flywheel.
That's strange it bent the bottom. It doesn't look any thinner than the top. Must have been one hell of a hit.

3500 lb car, hard corner .... no hit. I built this car to drive hard and fast, and I accomplish that about every time I go out - so while I rarely break anything - bending something has happened because I'm always at the limit.
I wish I had time to get a spoiler on this thing before this weekend (and finish the splitter/front airdam.... ah well, it'll still be fun

Note to self: Never put landscsaping rocks near my driveway or where I may drive. In fact, avoid putting them anywhere on the property.
Ouch, man. That's a rough deal. How much oil is left in the engine? If it's low, fill it back up and see if it will leak again (the level may be too low for a leak). Was the engine warm when you had the drizzle?

h: Well I didn't expect that! I hope you didn't take what I wrote as criticism on you for having the stones. I literally made a mental note not for me not to have them, thought it was funny and added to the post.
Still, I never expected to see a truck stuck in a front yard due to a poorly executed U-turn.

So if it wasn't oil leaking, what did you see drizzling out? Nice catch with the crack.
