Yup, damn nearly lost two friends over the years, and I woke up in a huge mud puddle due to a off road bike event decades ago.....

I've now ridden this, and I tell you what - Disney has nothing on this ride.

It's quick, its full of vibrate, but oh heavens is it fun..... imagine a CR250 with torque and hp that goes from just off-idle to redline....

Yep. They're just crazy motors. I used to have a neighbor that rode KX500s and we would race and race.. the kawi's don't hit near as hard or as brutal as the hondas do. I miss that bike!!

well, I got the parts yesterday, but life kept me from doing the work...
New reeds/cage


some modification is required



installed after a bitter battle with float levels


and bike is done (okay, I have one aluminum bit to weld on; but that's coming later)

contrary to the doom-n-gloom prophets, no one died or got injured - though one KTM chain did a nice job of welding itself to the front sprocket



and I'll say it again... this thing is amazing fun... though I do wonder why I need more than the 1st two gears.

I went riding at a OHV park called Tahuya (google it)...
