Quid question as I never had to do this before on a C3, but how difficult is it to pull the heads of an engine while still in the car. I have a bit my concerns around the bolts on the driver side and especially right below the brake booster.

Thanks.

I think the booster is a problem for big block cars and a problem (on the other side) with air conditioned cars. Never heard any problem with small block cars.

I know I would rather pull the engine than pull the booster or the AC box

Ok, another question though. Assuming I would want to take the engine out for a hone and rering job. Is it doable to get the engine out in one piece in our cars. I know how limited space is uin front of the engine.

Pulling engine alone, bb or sb, is pretty straight forward. One of those tilting assemblies for a shop hoist are useful.

It's possible. You really need to tilt the front of the engine up and then lift. Would be easier to do with a gantry hoist. I did it with a long frame engine hoist and it was a challenge.

If I were to do it again, I would remove the radiator support.
