Because i'ts the way of life to change interests, hobbies, or maybe other over riding factors, health, finances....tons of reasons....I sold my '70 published Lemans/GTO for a song just because the top was rotting, the body was rusting, and I had no storage space or really any further interest in the car...it did MORE than i'ts duty for fun and very impressive games, and time to move ON with it, and life...

:crap: the is only ONE car I would love to have from decades ago...that is my buddy's Grand Prix convertible......I let YOU look it up as to just what it was.....

If my opinion is that 75K is high, that's my opinion... it in no way says that the car is crap does it?

The other comment is about the VB&P brake setup, and if you did your research you too will see that the conversion not only throws the balance way off but the way the spacers are added to the steering arms upsets the ackerman geometry too.

If I said steeroids was a crappy system, am I saying that everyone who has steeroids has a ****** car?

You are putting words in my mouth, I never said anything bad about Chris' car.

But, if you want to talk about putting other people's stuff down, you mention Norval. Do a search on his and my posts on CF and you will see him criticising everything I did or trying to find some flaw. Did i ask for that? No. Did I go off whining about it? NO!

Why we don't get along, is that the same as him putting my car down? NO.

I know why he all of a sudden hates me, he couldn't standd it that I said in public that his drivetrain alignment is flawed. And it is.

I NEVER mentioned it until he decided to take that stab at me. Hell, he had other people send me PMs to tell me I was a jerk and he was upset. I sent him an apologetic reply and never heard from him again.

Sorry about it being big. When I pasted the URL it wasn't that huge. BTW...when I blew it up to it's largest size I noticed that the dual quads on the road racer may actually be some kind of fuel injection. Not sure what make, though. Looks like a toilet bowl

I not sure of the first name spelling, but that last name Senna, tore up lotsa high dollar racing in Europe some long ago...60-70's? one of the guys to look at and out for.....depending....

eh, somehow it appears fine now....and yes....tidey bowl comes to mind....

but if I had it now...I'd have to put DPFI on it so as to drive it on the street every damn day.....just for ****'s and giggles.....

Me too!!!! I'd cut off my left....wait....I cut that one off already to pay my taxes. Okay...I'd cut off my right gonad to have one. I saw real/original Cheetahs at the Chevy Vettefest in Chicago a while ago. They are freaking awesome!! There is no driveshaft. The transmission bolts directly to the rear end. You are actually sharing the passenger compartment with the engine and trans. If you wanna pee your pants check out this video of the Cheetah:

WOW! went to a car show tonight over in Smithville called Hot August Night's,and come home and there is a slam fast going on :surrender:

I got a replacement front left calipper last weekend and I think I did a pretty good job installing it.. no leaks, brakes feel fine :bump:
