Anyhow, I have stayed away from street bikes all my life...bad family experience when I was a kid another one recently as an adult.

I have a friend at work who did a cross country this summer on a sport bike with a friend of his who has a Harley. They went from Greensboro NC to the west coast taking the long routes..not I40. They pitched tents, stayed at inexpensive hotels, drove in the rain, moutain cold, desert heat....well, you guys know more about this than I do. They spent a few hours "repairing" the Harley...

They are just a couple of guys who through some **** together and went on the road for 3 weeks...needless to say, they had a trip of a lifetime. They did bring a camera and took lots of pics.

My friend is from Sweden. He is going back home in January. He wanted to cross the USA and see the sites....he decided to do it on a bike...I admire that.

Going off on another one of my wierd-ass tangents here--Ply the "T Brothers" with buffalo steak & potatoes, and tobacco & tequila. All products of the New World. Not "American" by any means & not unknown in Europe now, but 'New World' products nonetheless. (Might wanna hold off on the peyote, leastways till you're in DJDep's land. :devil:.)
If you know the history, you'll realize their roots are more Western than Chevrolet & Corvette, even though Chevrolet & Corvette are iconically American....

Every car club in existence has a photographer take picts and they put them on a website whether or not you buy anything.

I agree on the pics...If I was racing, I would have pics taken. Hell, I'd probably have them in frames and on the walls in my den, office, bathroom, garage...

TT....you're losing it. If you like that car, I suggest you go to the JC Whitney website and get a subscription to their parts catalog. Pretty much everything you see on there is available from Whit.

The plastic guard on the front is a popular item with pickup truck owners....it's a bug/rock deflector.
