New fuel line needed: Suppliers?

I'm plumbing the new ('69) frame. Looks like the fuel lines are the only thing that is going to be a bolt-on. Who's a good vendor to order a fuel line kit from?

Mike, for originality I can't help you, but I would do the same as I did for the rear brake line, stick a flare union coupling in the middle of two 3/8 diameter steel brake lines, premade at a parts house.....my rear line is aboutr 3/16 though, same principal...

Body off ??? Make your own... cheaper and you know the stuff fits. 25' ss tubing is under $30 at Summit....

I did not want to lift the body so I used ss braided hose from tank to the pump.

You need the entire line or only the part between pump and carb ? If it's only the pump to carb section, I have 3/8" SS tubing and can send you 3 or 4'.... lemme know...

I bought the stainless brake line kit from Mid America, it fit pretty good.. I was able to install it with the body on and had only minor bending to do, didn't even need a tubing bender... I would think their fuel line kit is as good... but it's like $180.... not cheap....

I checked a couple places. Definitely ain't cheap. Looks like I'll give Summit a call and get a roll of 3/8" ss tubing.

I ended up getting a roll of brake line tubing, too. All the brake stuff is going to be custom length anyway, so no point buying a bunch of hard lines and throwing away half the stuff. The hardest part so far seems to be the routing/lengths of the flex lines.

I installed new brake lines and it was not too difficult. The stainless kit fit well.
It is very expensive. I wish I knew how easy it is to use a tubing cutter and fkaring tool before I ordered all these parts. I cannot complain, it fit and was easy to install, I paid a premium for convinience

When I consider about 15 bux of parts is at the supply house next door, I just can't justify ordering anything.....and steel lines will outlast ME, so why bother with it??? plus shipping....

Ran the fuel line today. Man, that stainless crap doesn't bend like the mild steel stuff I'm used to. I was sure I was going to snap my bending tool a couple times. Next item is the brake lines, but thankfully they're only 3/16" and not stainless.

I worked on my fuel line today and I have nothing but trouble with 3/8" stainless tubing. last time I ran aluminum tubing and I was afraid it might not withstand vibrations and crack. The stainless tubing flare doesn't seal as good as the aluminum - it damages the aluminum fittings when you tighten it enough so it seals.
I'll re-do the whole thin in braided hose and use AN hose ends.

The stainless tubing works better with steel fittings, just bought a few today at Amazonhose here in Orlando...you can tighten it harder than the aluminum tube nuts, cheaper than the aluminum stuff too....
