They fired the engine just the other day. I have a video but it's poor quality. I'll upload one of my own when I get a chance to head over there and use my camera. Everything is coming along smoothly. Getting excited!

Here are some photos I took from my last visit before they were ready to start the engine.

Did you buy the camaro set?
VHX-1200: 1967- 69 Marquez Designs Camaro
If so, is there a reason you chosed them? I dont know a lot about gauges thats why I'm asking. ..

Yes, those are the ones. I just liked how they laid out. I planned to do a custom interior so I wasn't going to go with stock gauges.

well if you make it to the DC area i would like to see it. it looks really nice!

I don't know if I'll be in that area or not. I'm always looking for car events to go to. I would think there are some good ones on the East coast.

All of the trim, door handles and other components are being sent to powder coat this week as well as having the breaks bled and put on it's wheels for hopefully the last time. Looking pretty good so far to be able to put some miles on her this summer!

Here are the latest pics. Getting really really close. Can't wait till all the trim is in and be able to see it all come together. Sounds like the interior shop is booked up till July though...

Thanks, I was looking for something a little different and I think it's turned out pretty good.

your build is making me want to jump back into the C3's

do you know can you put side pipes on the newer fuel injected engines or do the computer systems need feed back from sensors after the cats?

Cat's? What cats? lol.

Sounds like all the powder coated pieces are coming in today so hopefully by later today or tomorrow I'll have some pics with them on/with the car.

Here are some more pics with the powder coated pieces.
