Does anyone have any insight as to where I might find a nice set of LED tail lights that still have the reverse lights? Not using the stock lens and sticking a LED bulb in there.

Headlights

Got my headlights in and in the car. They are going to look pretty sweet!

What do you think?

I was hoping to be much further along at this point than I currently am. I was thinking the car would be painted before 2014, but we are being held up by the guy doing the computer work. Need the BCM in order to fiberglass it into the car, but not having luck getting a response from the computer guy.

those lights will look awesome at night time. do you have the inner halo portion wired as day light running lights? I am thinking of doing that on my mga coupe project.

love to hear more details on your build tying to resto mod a c3 68 vert and it's an expensive ball game!!

I just got a c6 rear cradle 6l80E and suspension and I'm wondering if there is a way to put a c6 rear cradle and suspension in the car.

willing to run an aftermarket frame. it does appear that quite a bit of hacking is needed to put in a torq tube and you lose 6" of leg room and a narrow c5 style seat. my c5 is plenty comfortable so I hope to make it work

I don't like the dana rear setups as I'm trying to shift weight over the tires to get it to hook

I also have a 4l65E that will "hot rod" better

please let me know who you worked with at SR III motor sports to do the work

very interested!!

Yes sort of. When I turn on my parking lights those will come on.

SRIII Motorsports have done a C6 torque tube trans in a C3 already. Very similar to what your trying to do. They had to stretch the car to have room for the trans axle. There really is no other way to do it. Sorry for the late reply.

Ok, wow! It's been a while but the car is finally painted and it looks amazing! I also have my rolling chassis done and have some nice pics of it. Check them out below.

Ouch... Hopefully there will be some other kits in the future. I would love to have them but I'll have to save a bit of $$$. They sure are nice though.

Yeah, well I had all four lights functional. He can do 2 functional and 2 "dummy" lights. He says nobody could tell the difference but I opted for all four to be the same. You could save a little bit of money going that route. All the added features add cost obviously.

I think for a set of rounds that are functioning lights are $300 each so $600 for a pair. Everything else is extra.

Like I said, they work beautifully!

Ok, I have a slight dilemma. The car is orange and the engine bay is charcoal but I am trying to decide if I am to leave it glossy or make it satin. Examples attached. I'm leaning towards satin because I think it will make the engine pop more as well as the gloss powder coated frame.

Also, I don't think I've ever seen a glossy engine bay that wasn't the same color as the rest of the body. It just looked strange to me.

Thoughts?

SATIN... the glossy will compete with the actual color when you have the hood open... At that's my opinion. VERY NICE CAR THOUGH!

That is exactly the sentiment I had. I have a few people telling me to stay glossy but IMO the satin will be a nice change in texture from the shiny orange to the engine and other details I have.

You and me both. I just hope it's ready to drive before next summer. It's been too long!

I've made the decision to change my intake for my engine. I'm looking to do something different than what is typically seen as well as gain some good HP numbers. I'm going with the Carbon XR. I have had independent confirmation that it adds some good numbers in the mid and high rpm range of the LS7.
