Was there a service manual for the 1971 vette?

Back then Corvettes were included in general service and o'haul manuals....that covered the entire car line, all models of Chevrolet....except trucks....

my '72 manuals are red and orange on the covers....purchased at Carlisle during the swap meets.....

by '87 I know GM published Corvette specific manuals, the service guide was about a inch thick, and the electronic diagnosis manual about 1/2" thick.....
white covers...

Sam, I"d love to see one, but I suspect it's a repro, and as such like other Helm publications, I suspect they eliminate SO much that the factory manuals did not....but then again, the cars were mucho simpler in those daze....

anyone done a A-B comparison??

I know that buying Helm on later cars is a very much hit/miss thing....the information is designed to guide one away from the trouble spot....such as the 'engine control module' under the air cleaner in my wife's '99 Escort, for example....there is a a/c compressor control relay in there, but helm don't show it....but I found it, and that damn ~250 buck BOSCH supplied module was nothing but a 5 buck relay from whoever that I soldered into their deliberately sub standard built design.....every NEATLY overlooked in the wiring diagrame HELM published.....fuckers....

MY logical mind says WHY??.....
