Who is the masicist that designed the doors on these damn cars???

Dumb engineering which unnecessarily complicates my life is a major pet peeve of mine when it comes to cars and trucks.

I owned a 2000 Toyota Tundra for awhile. That was absolutely the easiest modern vehicle to work on I have ever owned. Very well engineered. The first time I went to change the coolant I found petcocks with hose nibs already installed on both sides of the engine block, AND they were easy to get to.

My '05 Suburban didn't even have a drain on the radiator. Curse you bean counters!

The Tundra was the one vehicle I owned that I actually overestimated the time required to do things. My '73 requires that I estimate the time to do a project and then multiply by 3.
