No, of course he's not a psychopath---he is not of the 1%ers who are the problem! He too is victim of them.
Can't any of you grasp the concept of where the problem lies?

He IS one of the 1%'rs. The definition of 1% is the top 1% of income. If the OWS people had their way, he would have been completely ruined.

Can't you grasp that concept? I don't see the protesters making exemptions to the "special cases" of earners who fall into the one percent. What I do see is the demand that these 1% give them more of their money (without exception)!

And, before you ask, I don't think things are "fair" in government. But I don't agree that lies (like the poster of the income gap or the misrepresentation of everyone at the top 1% as psychopaths) will help with anything. I don't think that many things are fair in life but I won't lie to make my point.

The thing I don't get is why the OWS people take their complaint where it belongs, Washington!

Sure, the BIG international bankers....Red Shield, Rockefeller, Mellon, DuPont, Ford, Pew, Colgate, Penny, and many others....

the Bilderburg groups.....led by the oldest international banking house of all time....Rothschild....

So what is the answer, more government control as the OWS people want. I say no, that is the problem. A large powerful government is the most suseptible to corruption. Don't look to other to look out for you, look out for yourself.

I think the only man speaking the truth is Ron Paul.

Yes, but the PROGRESSIVE led sheeple will be hating him by time the MSM spins it all around, and honestly I disagree with him on some point myself....

mainly about wiping out islam from face of the earth...but I digress....

so I like CAIN and want Herman to raise it ....he has more common sense and a leadership quality seriously lacking with any other in a LONG time....

and I think CAIN has more chance to pull it off than Reagan....

I don't feel sorry for your friend at all. For those 50 years he was able to deduct everything related to his business. Cars, building depreciation, equipment depreciation, a portion of his house, vacations, business jet, and on and on and on. But we're always worried about small business. He sold his business and was taxed on only the gain at a long term capital gains rate which is lower than what the average joe pays. You know a small business owner can go out and buy a hummer and deduct the whole ******* thing in one shot. You don't even have to be that smart to pay absolutely no taxes at all. The rich don't want to pay a "death" tax either. Then who the hell is going to pay. Average m'fers like all the guys hanging out here taking it up the ass.

******** LITTLE EVA, I never got away with anything even CLOSE, buying a full time USED work truck/van.....I had to depreciate it.....you saying my accountant was RONG? CPA and all?? I doubt it, as it was standard practice of the times.....today, I can't say, not been all that active....

IF ANYONE has a ounce of common sense they pay NO taxes upon death because they have done ONE of TWO things....not triggered the estate limits before FEDERAL estate taxes are due....OR.....they established trusts and holding companies they control through family generations

like Rockefellers, etc.....smaller scale, similar results...

BUT the top 1% still pay about 40% or so of the INCOME tax totals.....

then it goes to the rest of us hangers on, and the bottom 50% pay NOTHING in INCOME taxes....but IF they work on the table...they get to pay 15% to SS.....1/2 on the stub, 1/2 to the employer as 'his' contribution....

either way a deduction to the employer.....so the manipulation of the law to show that ******** on the pay stubs is just a LIE....like to meet the crook coming up with that one, and introduce him to Mr. Benelli....

[ One only becomes a 1%er by being a psychopath..

I would say replace psychopath with crook and i'd agree. Did you see the deal on 60 minutes or whatever where Paul Allen talks about dumpster diving with Bill Gates looking for thrown out code? Not only is he not ashamed of it, he looked back fondly on those activities. How can you get any more unethical than that.

Gates out crooked Jobs who stole his ideas from Zerox and on and on and on.

Show me a squeeky clean honest ethical person who is a multi billionaire.

the story goes that Xerox sold the mouse for a song to Jobs.....and IBM thought nothing of the 'intelligent terminal' not seeing the growth of chips and ****....so Gates bought the DOS 1.0 from the writer for 100 grand??

OF his father's money.....fat chance MY father ever do that for me, even though he did explore a chance in the early 70's during my first marriage...and sure enough my Dad was correct.....

GATES made it off the back of the FED.GOV and little other.....

and how I wish the second divorce had not happened and we bought about 50 grand of MSFT in '88 instead of pissing it all away on uber emotional ******** she generated.....kept our noses to the stone and stayed cool....

You're on the right track just about 60 years behind.

Get the big money out from running, ruling, & ruining our lives soley for their own immediate gain.

No one's holding a gun to anyone's head. Just stop giving it to them.

How many of the people that aren't in the "1%" would be just as upset as they are now, if they were instead in the 1%?

Mike

You gonna stop putting gas in your truck & eating & watching TV & taking your blood pressure meds & heating your house & paying for your other needs &/or wants?

No, but I would consider something more economical, combined with using less gas, like carpooling, and instead of watching TV, getting some exercise, which might help with health issues, etc.

In other words, I don't expect someone else to pay for my needs and wants. It's not their responsibility -- it's mine. That's what people need to get. Until they do, there will always be some villain responsible for their unhappiness.

Another source, who said she was hired from a homeless shelter, said she was first sent to the protests before being deployed to Central Islip, Long Island, to canvass for a campaign against home foreclosures.

“I went to the protests every day for two weeks and made $10 an hour. They made me carry NYCC signs and big orange banners that say NYCC in white letters. About 50 others were hired around my time to go to the protests. We went to protests in and around Zuccotti Park, then to the big Times Square protest,” she said.

“But now they have me canvassing on Long Island for money, so I get the money and then the money is being used for Occupy Wall Street—to pay for all of it, for supplies, food, transportation, salaries, for everything ... all that money is going to pay for the protests downtown and that’s just messed up. It’s just wrong.”
