remove EGR hump

When you grind that down and remove the EGR, what do you put in place where the EGR was?

what are you grinding down? normally you just take the egr off and put a Mr Gasket block off plate on with 2 bolts in the stock locations.

Near the rear of the bottem section of the intake on the 82 and 84 crossfire is a egr hump. You grind it down to allow for better fuel distribution in theory anyway.

You can use a block off plate were the egr use to be and do nothing to the interior/ some weld it up.



Or you can remove the whole thing inside and remove the outside pod and weld it up, I like this one;
