Ok, It has started, the Vette landed safely this morning at the paint shop. Actual work will start on Monday, so far the estimate is 6 to 7 days.

For the painter this is a one of a kind project, and him and his team are really excited about it.
The paint dealer will even send one of their technicians for the color shooting, as it's a tricky pearl and metal flake mix.
Seems I've been able to convey my passion for this project as they're upping their game.
Painter promised me my (our) daily dose of picture, this could be and entertaining week, and for once I'm a spectator like you.

Awesome! When was the last time anybody saw the whole car at once from a distance of more than six inches? lol I can't wait to see what all the work adds up to with paint. Fingers crossed.

Ah ah, so fucking true, last time probably was when I temporary stored it in Michel's garage, two years ago IIRC.

Here are the first pic from the painter, they started painting the insides, tomorrow doors and hood will get reattached because the actual paint.

It looks lighter that expected for the Shark Grey Color, but with all the paint booth ligthing it's hard to tell.
I'll go tomorrow evening see it for myself.

Here the lastest pic I received, the sealer have just been applied, tomorrow comes the base and the clear coat.

They spent an extra day to fix that fender flare, according to the guy the transition line between the flare and the body was all over the place. They did a really good job, they love the car and it really shows.
