Spent last Friday morning at Watkins Glen. Took 700+ photos.

Here is a slideshow of the various Corvettes. I’ll probably make a couple more for the “other” cars.

Nice pictures!

Thanks. Wanted to get to Indy and Ohio Vintage races, but never.

Here is part 1 (mostly non-corvettes). Probably 2 more vids to make.

I’m not quite halfway getting these links on YouTube. About 400 now. Lots are crappy, but there is some good stuff. Maybe will finish in a couple of weeks.

Here’s another group of photos from W G.

This is the first small block V8 Corvette ever built! It was a prototype 265 Cubic Inch V8 installed into a '54 Chassis by Murray Rose. To set speed records at Daytona, and to test at the Arazona Proving Grounds; Zora Arkus-Duntov expanded the displacement, and put in a wilder cam. The "Duntov Mule" was driven by Smokey Yunick to 163 MPH in 1955.

46 years later, the experimental engine and cam were reunited with the chassis and it's GM logbook in 2003; and restored. In 2009, the car became part of the Lingenfelter Car Collection.”

Too lazy to start a new thread. I have never seen this tape before.

Just to add this is a MAJOR upgrade to the three stripe Fine Line. It "Cuts" through a Vinyl Wrap. Cool.

Yes, pretty interesting. Looks like it might be a good way to get graphics on a car.

Once we sort out the "best" C3 mods for road racing, what say we have these guys build the buck for fiberglass/CF molds?

Using wood as the plug as the "swarf" is more user/environmentally friendly I suppose.

Cheers - Jim

That’s a bad a__ cnc.

Well, I need to finish the camero, re-bubba my bubba convertible (into a 68), and then maybe start a budget vintage early C3 type car.

Plus, stop doing home improvement projects (unless it is another garage). :)

Al Jr. and Mike Skinner VROC last lap at Road Atlanta.

They just ran an SVRA ProAm race.
