An Eagle's flight from the top of the world’s tallest building to his handler below. You can see him looking, looking, looking for the trainer, invisible to a human eye, then fold his/her wings and then drop like a bullet to that trainer... very cool.
On Saturday, 14th March, an eagle was fitted with a camera . . . and "Eaglecam" and took flight from that building, the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai. Here is the film. The eagle would have no idea where that speck of land was or what it looked like. It actually had to pick out and recognize the trainer.
What surprises me is how smooth the flight is with no camera shake whatsoever.
Here is the film.

Just absolutely astounding. Notice that when the bird finally recognized his owner, the bird went into a dive. Next time I fly, I'd like to have a bird at the controls!!
Im not sure I would want the pilot go into a dive when landing.:suicide:

Beware! It is important to watch this to the very end! You can never say you weren't warned. A VERY GOOD LESSON.

Don't worry about the future. Worry about right now, today!

WATCH THIS TO THE END!

Everyone should watch this, kids too (especially the kids). When it’s over, DON’T FORGET THE LESSON. ESPECIALLY YOU TEENS. IT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE REAL WORLD OF CYBERSPACE, BUT YOU MUST WATCH TO THE END.

Now I'm not delusional, I know I have a lot of information out there. But this is a perfect reason why I refuse to do ANY banking or bill paying online and the only purchases I make are with a single secured credit card.

Just saw this and think today is fitting.
Enjoy!

Most of us have been to Sea World and similar denizens-of-the-sea attractions. This is one I've never seen before and it is awesome. I have no idea where the aquarium is, looks a little like Sea World but can't tell.

The best dolphin show clip I've ever seen. It would be hard to over estimate the intelligence of these incredible animals.

Utterly Fantastic!

1976?
GM's Motorama exhibit in 1956 featured a film that looked into the far distant future of 1976 with predicted a jet age future with electronic digital displays and an On Star like central command that would guide us along our uncrowded path to adventures.

I remember as a little kid, my folks lived in Wash DC region, I born there in '44, and so being the family was from Cleveland Ohio, they'd make the trip maybe twice a year, so I"d ride in the back seat of course for the long trips, taking about ten hours, then this miracle highway opened up, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, predecessor to the interstate highway system.....it was built with private funds, BUT it took the route of some RAILROAD tracks that had even been blasted through some mountains forming tunnels that were rather impressive....the highway ran from east Pa. all the way to the Ohio border, where the roads became ****** and slow again.....we drove mainly Maryland roads to a town called Breezewood Pa. there to head west to Ohio....eventually the other roads improved, and the travel time was cut to 6 hours or so, The Pa. Turnpike was the first interstate highway...it was a toll road of course, being private property....:shocking::beer:

How to Stop a Massacre

In the aftermath of the Aurora, Colorado Batman movie theater shooting, a surveillance video has surfaced that shows the simple, obvious answer to the question on everybody's mind: How do we stop a massacre?

The answer is revealed in the stunning short video shown below. This remarkable solution:

• Requires no police.
• Costs the taxpayers no money.
• Protects innocent lives.
• Is deployed in as little as FIVE seconds.
• Works everywhere.
• Deters violent crime.
• Makes bad guys flee immediately.
• Is easy to learn.
• Functions at the local level.
• Does not require control or intervention by the United Nations or any government entity.

This was a guest speaker at a Conference on Aging in California; The speaker is a former TV weatherman, but SHOULD be a stand-up comic.
Attendees were young and old alike, male and female. I hope no one is offended . . . he is quite funny.

Drone wars - the next kind coming your way soon!

Think about this the next time you see that drone over the football game you are attending.

Wonder what all the hoopla is over "Drones" in the USA?

Take a look at the video link below and watch it in full-screen. Russian dude has created a remotely controlled quadroto-copter fitted out with a 100 round machine gun. Watch him as he has fun blowing up mannequins and cars. It's all done with a touch of humor, but the reality is that this fellow has created a very lethal killing machine that could be remotely controlled and come into your yard, or house and kill everyone there. Then it can fly away or be self-destructed. These types of robots have so much 'stealth' killing power, populations of the near future have a reason to be worried about what can happen to them over a Sunday Bar-B-Q.
