I'm Dave and I have an 1980 vette which I've owned since the October 1983. Bought the car after breaking up with a girlfriend as a treat to me.
The car is mostly stock except for a few mods to help it on the track:
ZZ4 motor, VBP front transverse spring with Carrera shocks, Doug Nash 5-speed, aluminum flywheel, roll bar, OMP seats, 5 way harness (2), CCW 17x10 and 18 x12 wheels, Kuhmo ECSTA 275/40-17 and 295/35-18 tires, QA1 coil-overs in rear, 2.5" dual into 3" single into 2.5" duals into MagnaFlo's, unpainted flares and faded paint, canton race pan DeWitts aluminum rad wth dual fans, Sparco steering wheel adapted to work with tilt/telescopic steering, Le Mans style headlights, Wilwood Superlites on front with stock rotors with stock calipers in rear.
