Looking to sell the L83 from my 82, minus Crossfire and trans. I know there's nothing particularly special about these blocks, except, I think they did come with forged pistons stock (TRW something or other.) What do ya'lls think is a fair price?

yes, trw 464664 but they're the kind with the long oil return slot and it's not uncommon to break off the skirt. The heads are junk 462624s

Not to rain on your parade but I think TT might be a little generous there. I paid $100 for my late model 350 4-bolt, one piece rear main, roller truck block just a couple years ago. Unless you find someone looking specifically for an L-83 (and why on earth would someone?) I think $100-150 is about the best you're going to find for a small block.

You may have more luck to advertise it as a heavy boat anchor. Seriously you would be better off to pull the engine apart and sell everything by itself, you will get more that way, but not much more.
