I think I have a problem with my Edelbrock carb when the car is run that shut down for a short period of time. I purchased an insulator ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-9265/ ) that goes between the carb and manifold. My question is do you think I need a gasket on either side or is the isolator a gasket? My guess is not but I wanted to get your thoughts. Thank, Jack

Nope. It is a gasket, but intended for an open plenum manifold.
