I used to store my motorcycle on the cement floor over the winter and lost air. I stored on plywood after that. Home Depot sells carpet that is really cheap. Can't remenber what it's called, Berber maybe?

My Corvette is not a good example. It's on jackstands way more often that its on the ground.

I normally keep it on rollers, then I can move it around
