I'll back Cherry up on this. I can't believe you guys think that thing (yes the LeMans dildo looking one) looks great. At least the flat ones are not quite as gaudy.

Again...it's a matter of personal taste. I didn't take a poll to see how many liked/disliked it before I made my decision because "I" liked it and did it regardlessprrtt:

Mine was fully functional as well with no "stock cap" underneath. Hit the clip, fill with gas and close it.

I photochopped a cap onto my 82 a while back and thought it looked ok. I'll get around to the cap in a few months and post come real pics then

But, so long as I like it...

Why do you find it necessary to tell people things on their cars look like **** exactly? Mind posting up some pics of your car so we can critique it? I have no doubt there are things on your car that I don't like but, before now, wouldn't tell you they look stupid and look like ****. You might want to get out this weekend and score some tane and maybe you'll feel better.

This forum is simply not what it was a few months ago. With Lars being gone and DB being banned, the spirit is gone. Lars probably knows more about carburetors than anyone on the planet. DB was a prolific poster who could always be depended on for quick correct answers to questions (especially on stereo equipment).

I know that since I mentioned DB this will probably get locked, but someone has to say it: I now wish I hadn't paid for my supporting membership. I think some of the moderators are too heavy handed when it comes to censorship. The love is gone!

I was reading at CF- there's several guys crying that DB is gone. If enough of them get together, I'll bet the mods invite him back. If that happens he'll really be untouchable. It may take a while for it to happen, but I'll bet it does.
The Mods there have wimped out so many times it's a trend.
