What differences in a early/ late 69

Steering gear will have a cast iron cover. Later has aluminum.

However, I could be completely wrong!

Just kidding Dean.

Im thinking the early 69's had the wiper cover vacuum relay located under the passenger side fender while the late models had it located up on the fire wall driver side. Never found out when and why they made the change

Early had a "beer can" style wiper vacuum cylinder. Late had the flat style can.
On my very early 69 the buttons for the ventilation on the center console are the same as on the 68 model. Mine is nr. 2239 in the 69 production run.

Even though my car spent many a year as a custom show car, it was stock as a stove mechanically, even the wheels.....typical women owners, all into the glitz and show, not the actual mechanics, which made it a PURRfect PURR chase for this cat.....

AND so to state that my '72 had the wiper door valve under the back section of the fender, not on the firewall, and no evidence of any odd screw/mounting patterns over the years, so I have to ASSume it was dead stock, just like everything else mechanical.....

There is a really good book dedicated mostly to 69's, be worth getting if you really want good detail. Lots of photos and info I couldn't find else where. Things like rear end codes for 68 HD diff.
