Recently a customer wanted to purchase one part from a four piece radiator support seal kit we supply. Laurie is a somewhat new 1974 454 AC convertible owner (resale Red too) and only needed one part. I initially declined, neglecting to check confirming that she had previously purchased the four piece set.

After I took my foot out of my mouth and recanted, she explained they had damaged the part during installation and since her goal is to get NCRS judging affirmation this coming May event in Arizona. Me thinks she though if we broke up the four piece set – we would have a three piece incomplete set. So I decided to tell her how we actually had the materials and made them right in our own small warehouse. I had some jpegs (some blurry, some good) and wrote up the link below.

Thanks for the behind the scenes look at your operation. Most parts supplier (of any vintage vehicle) these days, are probably just taking orders to drop ship parts like a mini amazon. Good to see someone who actually makes them.

Thank you for forwarding my request to Larry. He replied enthusiastically and even said "A how you got started" would be a bonus". I'm working on that - It was all serendipity - not planned.
