I have a 1981 that I am building specificily for showing. The engine and trans is a solid rebuild with mostly stock parts yet with Hooker headers, Edelbrock cleaner and valve covers and an Accel ignition. The suspension is a later project but I run a set of Bilstiens.
My current project is an interior refinish. The seats and doors are good. I am changing to Whiteface gauges, modern audio and removing the woodgrain for real brushed aluminium.
My first show was in Lakeland, FL last year. Mostly showing the perfect paint and body that was done by a race boat painter in Tampa. I hope to show the new interior in March and have a cleaner engine for show this summer.
