Should I ?

Some may remember that i was thinking of adding a couple of stripes to match a picture of a vette posted some time back. It really caught my eye and over here there are maybe a dozen C3s and half of them are painted nearly the same color as mine, copied after my car. before I do pull the trigger I would like some comments from real C3 folks. Over here everyone loves the idea but?:banghead:

Here are a few pictures of the stripes but the color will be a flat black to match the rear louvers.

I think some tasteful pin stripes are better,

the back end reminds me of old Mopar muscle.... not Vette....

allthough the front is reminiscent of old Camaro:crutches:

I like the thick stripes. Look at Lens car...very nice.

I say flat black BM stripe

I considered running a standard racing stripe but there are very few American cars here and several of the Camaros, Chevelles and Rustangs have stripes so I have ruled them out also the BM stripe due to my vette having a big rear window really don't fit.

The rear stripe reminds me of a Dodge... looks good but it does look the stripe on the new Chargers....

That's the one I did. From memory, I think TT did the other one? I went to post it up for you and realised I'd deleted them. I normally keep any photochops I do like that. Must have been a bad moment on crack...
