Hi guys, Ive been lurking here for a while, but figured I should actually introduce myself. Im currently in Pohang, South Korea working on month 6 of my 6 month deployment. Hope to be home in early June. Ive been a long time member of that other Corvette forum, generally in the C5 section, but I recently sold my 2003 Z06 to fund the purchase of my dream car....a 1969 British Racing Green (I know, technically Fathom Green) convertible. I purchased this from another long time member of the other forum and will have it delivered as soon as Im back in the states. 44K original miles and extremely well cared for.

Thanks! The plan is a relatively mild build....probably next winter. Im going to do Van Steel coil overs/tubular A arms all around with their offset trailing arms for wider wheels and tires and Wilwood brakes all around. Im also going to take some weight off the nose by swapping to an aluminum radiator and water pump along with AFR 180 heads, some 1.8 rockers for a little more cam, an aluminum intake, and then the Holley Terminator EFI with the associated fuel system upgrade. Im hoping to get the car down to about 2900 lbs and pick up a little horse power in the process, but nothing crazy. Ill keep all of the old parts so that it can be put back to stock at some point. Then take it out and enjoy it. I do the local auto cross and we'll use it for things like Power Tour and other fun road trips.

Love the pics of your car! Heres my other ride......

LOVE to go with you, in the cargo area, even.....but my wife would not go along, funny about that, I good to about 20' on a roof top, but in an aircraft I can go forever....krazy about that, in that I fell off a ladder when a short critter.....oh well....

YOU have a neat job there, highly envious....
