Never heard about this car before, make think of a Cheetah

Wonder why you would build a car in 1964 and use C-1 Corvette suspension? A step back to the stone ages! I've got some time in a Cheetah and it is a ball (and a handfull) to drive. Lots of time looking out the side window. C-2 IRS, but the wheelbase is so short the transmission is coupled to the rear end with a double u-joint -- no driveshaft.

...or a Bizzarrini....
Indeed. I didn't know this builder either.

Perceived similarities were purely aesthetic.
I had a quick look on their website, and it seems the J-5 and J-6 were kit car with C1s as donor.

Gee - looks like Pontiac Design "team" didn't do much...

Shortened wheelbase a bit, modified grillwork, Targa Top, etc...

When I see old school kits never completed? My mind starts to race, thinking, boy I wish. When they built these things in the 50's and 60's? There were no Speedway Motors, Jegs, Summit Racing, Art Morrison, etc... What great projects they could be!
