It will be a while before I mod this one but even I've got to say that sometimes stock ain't too bad.

It's got a mod now even thought it is a factory option. I switched to a suede steering wheel. A lot easier than the LS3 going into my '69.

sold the Z06

Sold the Z06. Replaced it with a blue M7 Z07 and a black A8 Z07. My Wife can't decide if the black one is hers or the blue one is hers or both of them are hers. I'm OK with the leftovers.

Nice. How does the Z07 compare to the Z06?

I keep thinking of trading my old C6 Z06 for something newer, but since leaving FL it only gets a few thousand miles a year.

I never drove the Z06 close to its limits so I think the Z07 pushes the gap between what I ask of the car and what it is capable of (on the street) to be a little greater. In the softer shock settings the Z06 did seem to have a nicer ride. The Z07's ride is not objectionable but it's hard to hide a 62% stiffer front spring. I have not ridden in a base C7 but they must be very sweet daily drivers based on these Zs. We're looking into trying Z06 springs in my Wife's Z07 to improve its ride a bit.
