As some of you know, i'm (amongst other things) assembling my wiring back in the car.
It also entails putting in the FI wiring (Megasquirt).
I have a cable for the FI that has a DB37 connector (female) on the end. I was thinking on building a box on top of my manifold, to lead all the sensors and injector wiring to and to connect the wires in this box (kind of like an early C2 FI box).
I could put a male DB37 connector in the end of the box on top of the manifold where all the wires would connect to and just connect the female DB37 there. Would make disconnecting the engine a snap.
Something in the order of this type of box (except that in my case it would not serve as the intake manifold)

However, i'm not sure if it's a good thing to use these connectors under the engine bay.
Any input ?
Thanks
