I am in the process of installing a new stereo system in my '73. I have decided to mount the amp in the jack storage compartment. I was going to relocate the jack to the spare tire well but it won't fit. So I am looking for a good compact jack that will fit inside the 15x8 spare wheel.
I have contacted Norco about this one: http://www.handsontools.com/Norco-82002C-1-12-Ton-Capacity-Scissors-Jack_p_4892.html. I am waiting to hear back from them on the closed dimensions.
I think this is the one the C2 guys are installing in their spare tire wells but I can't find verification. Anyone know anything about this model jack or where to source any other compact scissor jack?
