About to start front clip reinstall, need a couple pics

Hey Guys;
Made a little progress, got the hood surround disasembled and the cracks repaired. Bonding strips ready to stick on, 1 new fender and 1 still to strip, no problems there.
I cleaned up ann the bonding pieces that form the planum and fender mount pieces in front of the doors, all that is ready to go back on. I am test fitting all those parts and am not real happy with the fit. Anyone have any detailed pics on this area?

What a shitty fit, its going to take 2 lbs of glue to close up the gaps

I found this picture on the net a while back. It shows (yellow line) where the adhesive goes. However I don't see the flange on the left side on your picture. I've seen this before. It looks like there is nothing to bond to?

I know this isn't an answer but maybe someone can explain.

A large chunk is missing there, most likely from previous damage and it was just removed and left off.

I had the same issue with mine, drvers side no damage:

Wow, guess mine isn't the only one gonna look like shit under there. I have all the parts, just don't like the fit. But it seems like I have them in the right places.
