drove the Lambo Gallardo and the Ferrari 430 today, both great cars

The 430 weighs just over 3000lbs and at just under 500HP a lot of fun to drive... handling is simply amazing.....

i wish I had that money... the 430 is $189.000 - $227000 acc to the net... not that it really makes a difference , +/- 10 grand , who cares ???

Gotham Dream Cars - they ran a special on Groupon... They are down here in Orlando this weekend, they go up north for the summer then return in Nov... it pretty much is Disney and a candy store combined

no doubt the Ferrari.... the Lambo understeers more and that really slowed me down, especially since I am not used to the car.... the Ferrari felt a lot better, it's much more forgiving, has much more grip on the front and all around easier to drive.

Now... on the way home my C6 felt like a dumptruck...... :clobbered::clobbered:

not sure.... however, i realize that whatever i do trying to improve handling of my 79 it will never be anywhere close to the handling of this 430...... :3rd::3rd::3rd::3rd:
on the other side ; my '79 is a lot cheaper LOL

Did you drive by yourself. How hard would they let you drive. What kind of course. How many minutes did you get? How much did you have to pay?

Are those things paddle shifters or standard clutch?

Sounds like something a lot of us would like to do.

Do they need to think you may be a serious purchaser?

they let you go as fast as long as they are comfy with your skills. I had the front tires smoking thru the corners a few times and he ws ok with that....

cones.... not my favourite, would be better on a real track...

three laps for $249 is the regular price, the Groupon deal was $99

pedal shifter. there is a delay when shifting, I personally don't care for these things and prefer standard ... then again, for $99 I'm not complaining

they offer upgrades: the 456 Italia was an additional $100, three extra laps $100 , drive another car $100 and so on....
