What should I use to paint my steering column?

I’m finishing up the rebuild of my T & T column, and it’s going to need to be re-painted. I’ve got the Corvette America dye, but that’s not going to work on the metal parts of the column.

I suppose I could have my auto paint guy mix some up, but that’s going to give me a lot more than I need. :hissyfit:

The color is 1978 Dark Blue.

Corvette America dye goes on metal. Just use the right prep. I used it on my steering column a few years ago....looks like new.
