My project 81 has a narrowed ford 9" rear, any idea where I can get a fuel cell that will fit under the back in the stock location? i guess i will have to modify from there.
Some years ago my welder buddy TIG'd up a ~200 gallon boat tank from diamondplate and some solid internal baffles/braces for another friends' boat....
the requirements are obviously different, but it took Johnny about a week to do it, part time in the evenings after working all day....
:surrender:
. If not i will just get crafty and make my own.
I always thought a box that contains fuel was a fuel tank and a bladder in a box was a fuel cell.
fuel cell
–noun
a device that produces a continuous electric current directly from the oxidation of a fuel, as that of hydrogen by oxygen.
Your right I can't build that, But I can build a well constructed, baffled foam filled, sumped, proper inlet positioned, proper shape and size fuel containment device for my corvette that will stand up to the most anal tech. inspectors gaze. done it several times in the past.Oh and by the way, you have no idea what I am capable of doing.
