Out of curiosity, anyone knows how hard would it be to put those gen II sbc T56 behind a Gen-I sbc?

Very easy if you have a 1 pc rear main seal block...
If you have the 86-older SBC 2 pcs RMS you need a conversion flywheel. Mcleod is discounting their 18lb aluminum conversion flywheels (or they did for me at least :bounce: ) Mcleod PN 560370 I think we got it for $275. Had to call direct for this deal though.

The few information I could grab made think bellhousing bolt pattern, input shaft length and pull-style clutch fork would be potential issues.
