I have finished the frame off on my corvette, and now need to start getting things ready for when the body and frame unit. I need to install an A/C system in the car I know Vintage Air makes one. I did a search and didn't really find much here. If you have any experience with Vintage Air or similar brands any advice or comments would be great. I have a 74 with a big block.

I've got Vintage air, great kit, great customer service. I think there was an issue with the BBC compressor bracket height, but I expect that has been corrected.
Since you've got a vette, which all seem to have cooling issues, get the trinary switch to control the compressor and an electric fan. See if they'll substitute the trinary for the binary switch.
Also, I would suggest to buy locally. If you need to order small stuff, VA seems to have a $15 shipping charge. You're better off having the local shop get it.
The only criticism seems to be the routing for the center ducts in cars that cam with AC is rather tight. Mine was not an original AC car so it came with a single center duct and it was still a little cramped.
