VHS to Youtube conversion: How?

Just curious. I've got some old tapes of autocross and track events on tapes. How does one go about getting a conversion made to have something to be able to post or e-mail?

I did this a few years ago with Dazzle video creator 80. I comes with USB cable with Audio/Video or S video. You play the source and then record on your computer.

Have to say, the quality is not very good and the file sizes are huge. There is probably something better out there today.

What's your budget? There's VHS to DVD recorders, then you can post off the DVD.

If you have a digital video camera (DV Camcorder), a lot of them can do it and save the file to the hdrive.

If buying something, consider the DV Camcorder and you will have a new video camera for very little more money.
