T-top locks

Most of the ones I've seen do keep the top from being removed from the car but it seems as if when they are being stolen the thief hits the bottom outside edge of the top to dislodge it,if it pops off he takes it,if it breaks he leaves it.:smash:
 
I had them on a 280-ZX turbo a few years ago. They broke the locks and stole the tops.
