Clinging to my guns and religion in KCMO.
I've been cleaning out the barn to get rid of and sell some stuff I no longer need. I've got a spare steering wheel that looks like the same design as my original '69 wheel, and I'm trying to remember what it was off of.

The black rim wheel is off the '69 (replaced with a later smaller diameter wheel), while the bluish gray wheel is off of ??? Did any early C3s have this color wheel?

Thanks,
Mike

might be bluish/gray like the color gun metal? I believe that was a 69 interior color

I think that style started with C2 in '63. Those came in colors, but I don't think a light blue.

Weren't all c3's up to 76 black? 77 started a new style.

I'd think we'd need a NCRS input here. At one point in time, I thought all the steering wheels were black. My 68 has a plastic "wood" appearance and the 70 I bought had a black steering wheel. But it did have a black interior,so I really don't have an authoratative input on steering wheel colors. I've changed the interior on the 70 to red and I was able to buy mint red steering wheel on ebay.
I'm not sure that 70 red interiors had red steering wheels. There's a possibility they were black as far as I know.

I know my '72 vert had a black wheel with Dark Saddle interior...

Thanks for that posting. Looks like I've got a Buick Skylark steering wheel that looks just like a vette wheel except that it's red. I'm going to use that on my 70 with the red interior.

So far my 70 is configured for a 68 L88 rear valance exhaust panel. (With a 68 rear wiring harness.) So anyhow.......if I ever get this car finished, it's not going to be entirely stock! The L88 rear valance panel is for planned Hooker sidepipes.
