Spirol exhaust inserts vrs Sweet thunders

Anyone has eperience with the spirol tube inserts, please tell me if they are quieter then the sweet thunder 2.5" inserts

I have a 454 running hooker side pipes with sweet thunders in them and they are too loud. Is the spirol tube with the cap plugged any quieter?

Spirals with capped ends will choke your BBC and without the end caps the spiral tubes are not quiet at all.

I've got the STS baffles with the end caps drilled just over 1". Still chokes the BB a little. I don't think it's terribly loud, but it's not what I'd call quiet either. With no baffles the only place you can stand close to the car is in front or behind it. Stand on the side and it's painful. Never tried any of the mufflers.
