Day Zero
Outside - they were setting up. So took a few pics
Mostly this picture was for the spoiler on the Camaro... gives me ideas

pasted this picture on FB and asked my dad if I could have mom's Metro (he said no, weird, huh?)

poor Camaro - so glad the Japanese style isn't coming here

ideas for my wife's bed

Not a fan, but RS (Roadster Shop( is my 2nd favorite builder yet look at those uncut fenders.... at least 2 reasons for this 1) emissions legal everywhere, and 2) not having to cut fenders

the number of trucks outside alone is pretty overwhelming (I'm in the middle of the display)

hope they have a forward facing camera

must hate it alot if I took 2 pictures (hint, I don't)

the want is strong on this one

nothing to see here, just an extra cab Jeep pickup.... wait, a whut?

Kindig build.... note the fender flares? no external bolts.... pretty cool

for those looking for dana 60 front axles, this has an empty one... and it's an LS.... I would have gone farther, sectioned it, chopped it, and put a detroit 6-71 (or 12v71 if I wanted to go wild) in it

I got a lot of ideas off this one.... I love it but it has some great, practical ideas incorporated on it

not sure I'm on-board with the receiver hitch in the side (front of rear tire) but the wraparound rub bars... I like

kind of what I did to my Corvette... it's a 5th gen camaro under the skin

electric.... deathtrap? figure it's about 450 hp.... instant torque...

it's like they had to resticker it to show it...

you know, the bluetooth driveshaft trucks have the same suspension - and in this case.... it probably works very, very well

think some might like this

You have revealed the next-gen in track-tuning:

And, their app is Android (and iOS) compatible. No CAN-bus required. Eyes out for BLACK FRIDAY! Maybe a special?

Perhaps a bit distracting while on track, but if it records - wow. I'll have to trial download the app and see.
But what a good "gift" to the pit crew. Just add the TPMS and tire data is complete! Get right to adjusting between sessions.
Or, with a co-pilot in the right seat on the autocross track, quick feedback and manual recording (pen & pad) would be possible.

Nice too that it integrates with Race Render, I expect (and hope) it will with Race Technology as well.

Thanks for that very nice find (even if you've reached into my wallet!) But, at least you saved me a trip to SEMA!

and also.... it's 120 degrees of 'vision' If you offset the sensor, you can also have a brake temp representation too..... it gives readings by segment.... from their own words.. and before you ask, accuracy isn't affected by doing this

Not much of an update today - lots of looking at stuff but nothing I found interesting enough to picture.... here's what I got
first... I'm building steps for the Blazer so my height challenged wife can drive it.... thinking this is the right thing
all fabricated and square... looks nice

Toyo booth had some interesting stuff

I think Time Attack would be problematic but who am I to judge?

this car and the Blazer next to it are owned by politicians - and they have their own display....

this was a tv show car (it lost, thankfully) judged by Gene Winfield....

to get the flatbed lower, they made this in 3 pieces

interesting idea for a rooftop tent powered but also solid side

looking at a/c systems that run off batteries - this is one of 3

You bet - I also note they "suggest" the measurement of shock travel. I've started a dialogue with Shaun Crain, and will continue with him and see where it goes. My 'vette will have no ECU - no CAN Bus, so there is another integration hurdle. Add in the Race Technology data suite and the Apex Speed there will be a lot going on in the cockpit. SO what's new?

None the less, this could make the tweaking between sessions more exacting and corrections deliberate. Oh - NO! Its a BOAT -Break Out Another Thousand! Oh, yeah knew that all along.

Again - thanks for sharing the link. NOTED: They won the first place for; "Best New Performance Racing New Product." I'd say OZ was well represented!

One of the challenges for me is finding people who can help. I have the best friends in the world, but they have lives - thus things like this could really help me. Forgot about the shock travel deal.... wonder what else I'm forgetting - they are really helpful and a really nice group of guys.

I'm in. I hope it works as promised - I talked to the guy today and he mentioned talking to a "Jim" who couldn't have electronics. I love working with small companies because what I do makes a big difference to them. I hope it works as advertised because just our word alone would really open some doors.
