Rear spindle and bearings - missing parts ??

I found this nice overview on one of the vendor's websites. Part L is the dust shield and I have two of these. I do not think that I have part K unless it's the dust shield that is part of the spindle flange.



Is this part K part of the spindle flange or is it another piece that goes between spindle flange (M) and dust shield (L) ??

I never replace those flange shields, I have some NOS GM ones here too. Unless they're damaged, I clean and paint them.

Karsten, I think it's the small shield that is pressed on the flange, part L appears to be the other shield that presses on to the bearing carrier.

K is in your pic still installed

It appears I did what Gary does... I cleaned and painted it. On the overview (exploded view) it looks like a separate part :blush:
