Same as the last ones ( 321 Stainless steel ) only these are polished.

These guys quite simply do good work, you don't see much of that anymore these days.

You can tell even by the way it was packed, an extra piece of cardboard here and there to protect them. Very impressed.

Now remember this is a prototype they actually told me not worry about "aesthetics" at this point

Nicely done collectors and thick flanges

They are really quite impressive pics don't do them justice

Installed with no clearance problems anywhere just like the other side

With plugs

And finally with wires and plug boots and valve covers on, who built this POS anyway ?

Wow, those are almost too pretty to put on! Probably will look even better with that nice blue when you "season" them. ;)

what does it say on the tag?

It will say Hooker, how much do you want to bet? His last set of headers were Hookers, and since these "bolted right up" in place of the old ones I'm willing to bet that's no coincidence.

They will go into limited production as far as I know within the week and it will be no secret anymore, just give me a day or two. They aren't Hookers, these make Hookers look like they were made in China. These guys did a little grinding on the first unpolished prototype on the inside of the ports, they didn't even have to do that. They will never even be used.

The flange is much thicker than any other header I have seen and look very close at it. I am trying to get the correct info from them but I think they said the flanges on the polished version they sent me were make of billet steel, don't quote me on that one but they said it was more expensive stuff than the first version below, I am still trying to get clarification.

Here's the first unpolished prototype flange, this is not a finished product. The tubes are big enough to cover my AFR227 Exhaust port

Here's Hooker Super Comp which one would you bolt to your motor ?

"Hecho en China"

I don't ever remember crapping in your cornflakes yet every post I make here you gotta say some smartass thing.

I wouldn't promote /sell anything from China these guys are in the states in NC. I put 15 grand worth of parts into 427ci small block and I'm going to put cheap Chinese headers on it ?

This started out with me trying to find someone to make me a set of 1 7/8" primary headers and then I thought maybe some of you guys would be interested too. I have my own job and do just fine, I was simply trying to pass on what was going on with me and if anyone wanted to take advantage of this then fine.

Thanks to all the civil replies and you guys that are interested they are getting very close to a first production run. One more little detail that had to be taken car of.

Thanks,

Wayne

You said a day or two four days ago, times up. Who makes them? I'm getting bored.

Btw, I'd put cheap Chinese headers on an expensive motor. I bought AFR heads brand new, but I bought my headers on E-Bay, cheap. 1/3 of the retail price because the ceramic coating peeled off on one spot on one primary tube. Gotta pick your battles when you're not rich... like Motorhead is apparently. $15K on a motor.:harhar:
