My buddy's baby swamper truck

This is my friend's little 'swamper truck'. He lives in a very small mountain town and built it to do various light work around the town. It is (I believe) an S10 chassis. Saturday we went and pulled down an old tree that was about to fall across the road and then cut it up and put the pieces off the road for future firewood. Simple & light but very handy. I thought you guys would like it.










Here is his other truck, a 34 Chevy



(Yeah, that's my car in the background. The roads are in good shape this time of year but it was still slow and careful driving up there. Didn't scrape once, which was a pleasant surprise.)

Is the 34 on a modern chassis? I want that!

I believe it's a big Blazer chassis from the 70s, but he's had it for 20 years and I can't recall exactly now. It's hard to see but the bed is pretty short.

Considering how expensive the Kubota 4x4's are, his s10 conversion is a good idea.

I like that Chevy.
